On March 1-2, the 2024 annual work deployment conference of Guodong Group was held in Shanghai. On the basis of reviewing and summarizing the work in 2023, the meeting clarified the overall idea of the operation and management work in 2024, deployed the main goals and tasks of striving for progress, and pointed out the key requirements of "striving for strength and fighting a big battle". A total of 518 people attended the meeting, including group leaders, all employees of the Shanghai headquarters, members of the leadership team, heads of functions and business divisions of each company, and the rest watched the live broadcast of the meeting online.
On the afternoon of March 1, Lu Jie, chairman and president of the group, made a work report entitled "Strive to fight a big battle and strive to win a new victory in the cause of bigger and stronger national development" at the meeting. The report affirmed the achievements made in 2023, pointed out the existing problems and shortcomings, and made it clear that in 2024, we must adhere to the main tone of hard work, courage and perseverance, highlight the strong team, lay the foundation, strictly manage the team, seize opportunities, fight big battles, and seek big victories, complete the annual goals and tasks step by step, and solidly promote a new leap in the cause of making the country bigger and stronger.
The report pointed out that the main goals and tasks in 2024 are to complete various business indicators with high quality, the second is to go all out to sprint to the listing goal, the third is to actively and steadily cultivate and develop new growth points, the fourth is to comprehensively and systematically build an excellent organizational system, and the fifth is to effectively promote refined management in depth.
The report emphasized that the key to completing the goals and tasks in 2024 is to forge ahead in unity, overcome difficulties, and strive to succeed in the spirit of seizing the day and striving for strength: we must continue to stimulate high fighting passion, go all out to fight key battles, build a wolf team more effectively, unremittingly forge a fighting style, and comprehensively cultivate and improve the ability to win.
The meeting commended the advanced units and individuals in 2023, and awarded trophies and honorary certificates to 36 units that won group awards and 89 employees who won individual awards. The meeting also awarded the honorary battle flags of "Hero Team", "Tianshan Fortress" and "Frontier Pioneer" to the Liaoning Dandong Business Division, Xinjiang Kashgar Business Division, and Guangxi Chongzuo Business Division with outstanding construction performance in 2023, and called on business divisions across the country to learn from them and strive to be the heroes and pioneers of the national cause!
At the meeting, Lu Jie, chairman and president of the group, awarded the "2024 Annual Target and Task Responsibility Certificate" to the companies, and the heads of the companies made statements on how to implement the spirit of the meeting and go all out to complete the work goals.
